Bruiser, President, Gunslinger, Rogue and Admiral

Andres frequently served as his own model, posing for photo references to be used in his illustrations. After 1950 behind the camera was his wife, Jane, who had been trained as an artist, and made him look like a movie star. Here he can be seen posing as Admiral Nelson, Abraham Lincoln, a boxer, the "Rogue From Padua," and a gunslinger.  Props were often improvised.
